They therefore seek to recruit a Senior Sales /letting agent who will develop marketing strategies and ensure ambitious sales targets for the products are met. Roles and Responsibilities
  • To sell and market the clients’ products in the region as assigned by the company.
  • To meet sales targets for assigned region
  • To keep excellent customer relations and to implement the company’s sales policies.
  • Identify clients needs and advice
  • To advise management on market trends and other issues pertinent to the clients’ Kenya business
  • Generate lists of properties that are compatible with buyers’ needs and financial resources.
Skills and Experience
  • Holder of degree in marketing management will be an added advantage
  • Diploma in sales and marketing
  • Proven track in sales and marketing especially in a service industry
  • Experience of managing multiple customers across geographies.
  • Ease in relating to diverse audiences.
  • Good verbal and written communication.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounts Option), Finance or any other relevant field of study.
  • Possession of CPA (K) or ACCA.
  • A minimum of five years experience in Auditing of public institutions of University setting.
  • The ideal candidate must have excellent knowledge of the current auditing standards and practices.
  • Must be able to handle confidential and sensitive information, have excellent analytical and report writing skills.
  • Highly motivated with proven ability to work with minimal or no supervision, able to exercise sound judgment, pay attention to detail and a team player.
Assistant Internal Auditor – Grade 7 Applicants are invited for post of Assistant Internal Auditor and must be holders of:
  • CPA part III or its equivalent
  • At least 3 years experience in a busy audit department of University setting
  • Experience with computer system
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and report writing skills.
  • The ideal candidate must have excellent knowledge of the current auditing standards and practices.
Procurement Assistant – Grade 8 Applicants are invited for post of Procurement Assistant and must be holders of:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing and Supplies Management from a recognized institution, or a bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Economics, plus a Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies Management.
  • Familiarity with the Public Procurement and Disposals Act, 2005.
  • Experience of 4 years and above in a related field in a busy working environment.
Student Counselor – Grade 11 Applicants are invited for post of Student Counselor and must be holders of:
  • At least a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology or equivalent.
  • Those with a relevant first degree and at least five (5) years post-qualification related work experience at a University setting or other public institutions will also be considered.
  • Applicants with training or education background and experience in designing and conducting training programs for the holistic development of youth will have an added advantage.
  • Excellent guiding, counseling and problem-solving skills.
  • Applicants are expected to be computer literate with good written, and oral communication and interpersonal communication among others.

The Kenya Industrial Property Institute (KIPI) is a State Corporation under the Ministry of Industrialization established under the Industrial Property Act 2001 to administer and promote industrial property rights (IPRs) in Kenya.
Its main functions include registration of patents, trademarks, industrial designs, utility models and technovations; promotion of innovative and inventive activities; dissemination of IP information to the public, screening of technology transfer agreements and licenses and offering of training in IPR.
The Institute wishes to recruit staff to fill the following post: Senior Trade Mark Assistant 
Grade KP 6

1 Position
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Higher National Diploma.
  • Computer literate and working knowledge of IPAS and other IP databases.
  • Knowledge of the national, regional and international Trademark registration systems.
  • At least three (3) years as a Trade Mark Assistant I or six (6) years experience on practical aspects of trademark registration processes.
  • Accounting skills.
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
  • Carry out formality examinations in conjunction with examiners.
  • Collect and collate data for inclusion in the Industrial Property Journal.
  • Be responsible for implementing performance targets for officers under him or her.
  • Custody, maintenance and ensure accuracy of registers to be maintained under the respective Acts.
  • Keep record of official and personal searches.
  • Undertake official searches as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
  • Be responsible for filling of all correspondence and user documents relating to trademark applications.
  • Be responsible for effective implementation of post-registration activities relating to trademark matters.
  • Be responsible for file movement and tracking within the registry.
  • Be responsible for the accuracy and updating of data in the Institute’s IPAS database for the respective registry.
  • Be responsible for inducting and training new staff deployed to the registry.
